Mountune Built 2ZZGE: Hot Test & Break-in

 We're excited to announce that Mountune have built a test fixture to allow them to hot test the 2ZZGE engines that they are building for us.  They are not yet ready to do a full power test but can bring the engines up to temp and do a basic break in process. This will ensure the engines we ship out are running properly.

Currently they are using an engine harness from a Matrix with the plan to eventually set up the testing using a Motec or some other stand alone ECU.  This would allow them to complete a wide range of testing. 

Wheel Weight: Rota & Factory S260

 We try to measure every wheel we get our hands on to compare to our own.  We recently came into possession of a couple of wheel sets that we have not seen before sans tires.  I took the opportunity to weigh them.  See below:

• Rota Slipstream wheels - Cast
• 16x6.5ET26 = 13.85lbs
• 17x7.5ET32 = 19.1lbs

•  Factory Exige S260 - Forged
• 16x7 = 12.8lbs
• 17x8 = 17.5lbs

• 16x7 ET27 = 13.15lb
• 17x8 ET35 = 17.25lbs
• RS134 Monolites - Forged
• 16x7 ET25 = 11.25lbs
